OUR PHILOSOPHY

BEHIND THE BRAND

You’ve never been one for trends. Neither have we.

The name came easy. Armine + Ambrose are family names, the names of my two kids: Charlotte Armine (named for her maternal double-great aunt) and Kollin Ambrose (named for his paternal great grandfather.) A cool sound, and a quiet touch of legacy. It felt right.

I didn't start Armine + Ambrose to make jewelry that just looks good (though it does). I started it because I believe bold isn't a size, a volume, or a moment you wait for. It's a way of living. Our pieces are designed to mean something and stay: chosen on purpose, worn without apology, on the most ordinary of days.

MEET THE FOUNDER: ERIN CUMMINGS

I'm a rule-breaker by nature and a creator by trade. Over a decade of entrepreneurial adventures (including founding YESyoga and Built on YES), I've spent my career building spaces that put mindfulness and self-awareness first. Armine + Ambrose is the most personal of them yet.

As a mother, author, and angel investor, I don't have much patience for trends, and I don't think you should either. I started A+A to flip the script on how we think about jewelry, because a piece shouldn't sit in a box waiting for an occasion grand enough to deserve it. It should be the anchor of your Tuesday morning.

“What has been my boldest move yet, was built in the ordinary in-between. Not in a curated design studio, but in a mudroom, a yoga room, and in a season of hard, quiet decisions. ”

- Erin Cummings, Founder

Based in Houston, Texas, I balance the beautiful chaos of raising my two kids (the brand's namesakes) and our mischievous pup, Chocolate Chip.

The mission stays the same: helping women own their strength, celebrate their resilience, and stay bold in the ordinary.

THE STORY BEHIND THE TAGLINE

Our tagline, “Bold in the Ordinary,” is the whole thing in three words.

I started with one conviction: boldness shouldn't wait. Not for the promotion, the occasion, or the outfit that finally feels right. A+A exists for the woman who wears her best pieces on a Tuesday, not because something happened, but because nothing needs to.

Because here's what I believe: you don't earn the right to be bold, and no one else gets to define what bold means in your life. You already are. We just make the piece that reflects it back.
